Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing, accurate reconciliation, and maintaining optimal cash flow.
  • Conduct detailed audits of financial records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to uphold financial integrity.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing deductions to minimize liabilities.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts, and models to support organizational planning and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and evaluate projects, investments, and capital expenditures.
  • Accounting software and ERP systems are utilized to streamline processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve data accessibility.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and report findings to management.
  • Assist in external audit preparations by organizing and ensuring the availability of all required documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, adapting practices to maintain compliance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

– Prepare and review invoices for customers and vendors to ensure timely payments.

**Desired Candidate Profile:**
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Foreign Accounting, or a professional qualification such as ICWA, CMA, or ICA.
– Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
